Who we are

Mark Dansie founded Inflectiontech, then known as M.D. Computer Link, in 1987, with the aim of providing specialist IT infrastructure solutions for buildings and data centres that are high quality, reliable, have the lowest environmental impact achievable and are designed to meet the present and future needs of an organisation.

With a combined 70 years’ of experience in the IT industry, Mark and his team of consulting engineers help businesses to implement high quality IT infrastructures and assesses existing building and data centre installations for best practice and energy efficiency. He works personally on all customer projects, bringing in trusted partners to deliver the aspects outside of Inflectiontech’s core services.

To drive forward the development of the IT/Cleantech industry, Mark is a member of several associations and steering groups:

• Member of ESTA – the UK's foremost trade association for energy management specialists.
• Member of BICSI – an international professional association supporting the information technology systems (ITS) industry.
• Member of SAVE International - evidence shows that in many cases every £1 spent on Value Engineering consultancy services results in a hundred fold return on investment in infrastructure projects.
• Participates in the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineering Intelligent Building Group (CIBSE IBG)  - emphasises the importance of the building services engineer in the design, management and operation of intelligent buildings.

Professional member of the British Computer Society (BCS) participating in the following specialist groups:

• Data Centre – works to raise awareness and knowledge of the issues, opportunities and best practices within the field of data centres.
• Green IT - promotes green computing and address green issues and the adoption of green practices for Information and Communication technologies and services.
